Attendance and Class Cancellation Policy

 

1. Class Absences
The school kindly requests a brief notice if a student is unable to attend a scheduled class.

 

2. Excused Absences and Credit Preservation
Students can avoid losing class credits by notifying the school of specific dates in advance. The following cases are considered excusable:

A. Extra Work
One excused class is allowed every two months if communicated beforehand.

B. Work Abroad
A one-week excused period is allowed if verified.

C. Personal Events
Includes own marriage, birthday, or honeymoon. A one-week excused period is allowed if verified.

 

3. Subscription Continuity
“Regular” and “Private” subscriptions run continuously as planned at the time of purchase, except in these cases:

• Official holidays or school vacation

• Health issues (with a medical certificate submitted within 5 days)

• Force majeure (as officially recognized by the state)

 

4. Subscription Rescheduling
Subscriptions may only be rescheduled after the third month and then every three months.
“Standard Abo” and lower-tier plans cannot be rescheduled.

5. Private Classes

Cancellation / postponement of private lessons by the student must be communicated at least one week in advance.

6. Ethical Review
All requests for excused absences or rescheduling are subject to ethical review and approval by the school.

A) When renewing the Abonnement the student must decide and inform if they will use Rabatt oder DM's System.
B) Plus & Plus Pro Abos can be applied only for students registered in more than one course.
