​What is Bachata Jack & Jill?

In the Jack and Jill format, competing couples are randomly matched as leaders and followers. As an added challenge, the participants don't know which music they will be dancing to beforehand.

All couples will be dancing simultaneously.

Jack & Jill competitions involve multiple rounds in each of which the dancers receive a new song and a new partner to dance each round with.

This allows the participants to demonstrate their ability to lead and follow correctly, as well as their styling, improvisation and technique, all of which are essential qualities for winning a J&J competition.​
